I wonder where Alice will land? This piece is an accordian style book done in mixed media/ collage. It measures about 16" x 4". The individual pages started out to be ATC's, but as the theme developed, I decided to put them together as a book.
The theme is Alice in Wonderland, and as my given name is Alice, I have always been called "Alice in Wonderland" as a kid. I was a pretty serious kid, and it bothered me greatly for people to insinuate that I might be frivolous and in Wonderland all the time. As I grew up, my life has been topsy-turvey and I often wonder where I will land. I guess lately, I have been known to be daydreamy, especially in my art. In the end, "I don't wish to go among mad people." sums up my feelings of my life being out of control. I'm definately not the straight laced, serious, organized child I once was. I am enjoying my adventures in Wonderland, yet I sometimes long for the days when my feet were planted firmly on the ground and my plans were always sensible.
